Canoe Beach Park
A great little playground with stunning views of the lake and Mount Bastion, close to sandy beaches, beach volleyball, a swimming area, bike trails, a boat launch, and picnic areas.
Fletcher Park
A safe, well-maintained playground ideal for younger children, with shade trees, open grassy areas, and benches for parents. Quiet and less crowded, with public washrooms and parking close by.
Klahani Park
A children’s playground and fenced dog park, two ball diamonds with batting cage, two tennis courts, six pickleball courts, picnic areas with covered shelter, washrooms, and access to the South Canoe trail system.
Little Mountain Park & Fields
A walking park beside three full-sized multi-use fields for soccer, football, lacrosse, and rugby, with a field house, a children’s playground, washrooms, and four change rooms.
Marine Peace Park
Right on the waterfront with beautiful lake views and plenty of picnic tables and grassy spots. Flat, accessible walking trails along the water offer scenic outings — easy even with a stroller.
McGuire Lake
A gentle walking trail around the lake, perfect for strollers and young kids. Calm and small, it’s great for introducing children to nature and birdwatching, with open areas for picnics and games.
William Baker Memorial Park
Named after one of the first town counsellors for Salmon Arm, this park features a large covered playground, two ball diamonds, washrooms, walking and bike trails, and easy access to Canoe Beach.
